William has a wealth of experience and has been with the clinic since 1995. He is a 1979 honours graduate from the University of Queensland and holds a certificate in Canine Sports Medicine from UCD Ireland. He has previously practiced in South Australia, Sydney, and the United Kingdom, in both small and large animal practice. He is a competent surgeon who performs surgery for fracture repair, Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA) for cruciate ligament rupture, as well as other orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries.

Sukhman graduated from Massey University with Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2024. She started working for Great South Vets early in 2025. She is from Palmerston North. She enjoys Surgery and medicine especially treating cancer patients. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, exercising, cooking spicy food, and enjoying quality time with her husband. She is fluent in Punjabi and English.

Run graduated from Massey University with Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2024. She started working for Great South Vets early in 2025. She enjoys Surgery and medicine. She is fluent in Mandarin and English.

Born and raised in the beautiful islands of Fiji, she graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from Fiji National University and is a Registered Veterinarian in Fiji. In 2023, she moved to New Zealand and joined the Great South Vets team. Shesta is passionate about creating a thriving environment for her team and strives for the clinic to provide a high standard of care. When she is not caring for pets, she is out discovering the scenic trails and hikes. She is fluent in Hindi and English.

Jotishna graduated, in 2022 from Fiji National University (FNU), with a Bachelor degree in Veterinary science and Animal Husbandry. She moved to New Zealand in 2023 and joined our team at Great South Vets. She is from Fiji and is working towards her registration here to practice as a vet. One of her roles is answering the emails and phone and performing nurse vaccinations for clients who do not want to wait in the queue for the vet. In her personal time away from work, she loves to go on adventures, travel to new destinations, eat yummy food and sleep (that's right). She loves animals especially cats, dogs and birds and would love to have some of her own in the near future. She is fluent in Hindi and English.
